Designed to give competitors a head start on the tournament season, the Winter Training Series was introduced to provide a comfortable show atmosphere to those who may not have the opportunity to travel away to competitions during the winter months, or simply need to fine tune their skills with a bit of practice before the outdoor season begins. The series of tournaments is set over six winter weekends in January, February and March, with three weekends being jumper only and three dedicated to the hunters and medals. The Winter Training Series is also the launching grounds of the annual Developing Riders Tour which focuses its efforts exclusively on the up and coming riders of our sport.
