Equi-Health Canada is a national organization dedicated to providing standardized courses and high quality first aid products to individuals in order to give them the training, knowledge and materials necessary to provide effective first aid for their equine partners.
Equi-Health Canada courses provide hands-on equine first aid learning supported by a variety of learning methods and materials. You will learn how to prepare - how to react - and how to handle equine emergency situations while waiting for your vet to arrive.
All First Aid courses are hands on with horses and cover:
Pain detection, pain prevention
Lacerations
How to flush foreign bodies out of eyes
How to get your horse out of sink holes
What to do about hoof puncture wounds, thrush, scratches, abcess, white line
Digestive emergencies - colic, collapse, choke
How you can detect and ease pain in your horses back
Pantry solutions that just might save money on vet bills and medication costs!
